Every autumn Lisa Rigge (Member 49,842) and her husband travel to Gray Lodge Wildlife Area on the Pacific Flyway near Gridley, California, US to watch the passage of millions of ducks and geese. Lisa photographed this skein of Snow Geese as it unfurled across a sunset of Cirrostratus and Altostratus. ‘Sometimes,’ she said, ‘clouds make all the difference between a bad, good, or outstanding photograph.’
